Everybody loves a fitness influencer who keeps it real with their followers – and nobody does that better than Ella Mintram.
She constantly posts uplifting messages to , asking them not to compare themselves to others, and, most importantly, reminding everyone that often, what you see online is not what you would see in real life. She heavily edits her photos to show people what many influencers purport is their 'natural' look, but then she posts the 'real' version next to them, where she looks even more and natural.
This time, she's showing people how different angles can completely change the way a person looks - and that everyone's body is okay regardless of what we're to believe.

Ella captioned her side by side pictures: "The angle you see on socials vs the angle you don't see on socials!"
In the photo on the left she was stood facing the camera directly, so her figure looked extremely curvy and gorgeous in her bodycon white dress. In the photo on the right, she was posing side-on to the camera, so her belly was relaxed, and realistic for so many women.
She continued: "Not a good vs bad or better vs worse angle - just two different perspectives of the same thing! Because we don’t ever see enough of the non Instagrammable side!!"
Ella finished the caption by reminding people that people "choose" what they "want you to see" when you're on social media, as everybody's feed is super curated - and they've likely taken many photos before posting the one they chose to.
In the comments, people were not happy we've been conditioned to thing that one angle is better than another, penning: "It’s sad we’re made to think one angle is better than another, and hide parts of our self, parts of our joy. When in both of these photos, I just see a happy human. That’s what matters."
Someone else wrote: "This is the first time I've seen one of those social media vs reality posts that actually made me feel seen thank you so much for posting you're beautiful."
Others gushed: "Omg. I have the same body type as you, and this post is giving me life. You're so beautiful, and it's so refreshing to see such representation. And, of course, a reality check."
"I wore a dress the other day that I seriously never would have if I had not followed your account for a while. Thank you," one woman praised her, and others said she looked "so good from every angle" and her personality shines through the pictures.
